GSSL – Gunite and Shotcrete Services Limited is managed by John Aveling (Managing Director) supported by Matt Groves (Director / Contracts Manager), Nicola Groves (Director / Office Manager), Pat Carden (Business Development Manager), Andy Bird (Operations Manager) and Renwick Leitch (Commercial Manager) with a combined industry experience well in excess of over one hundred and fifty years. GSSL operate throughout the UK and internationally.

Water Retaining Structure – Sea Lion Pool
In May 2021, the Yorkshire Wildlife Park opened the new ‘Point Lobos’ expansion featuring a family of six California sea lions, making the two-acre water feature the largest filtered sea lion exhibit in the world.

After wagons in a freight train derailed close to Carlisle the damage to the track and the bridge resulted in an emergency programme of structural reinforcement to the existing brick arches of the rail bridge.
