Our client approached us to explore whether a sprayed concrete lining to a piled wall, would provide a faster alternative to a traditional reinforced concrete wall on their new build site in Tiverton.

Following a review of options GSSL was appointed as a specialist contractor to proceed with the sprayed concrete solution.

Preparation works were completed to clean the piles before the installation of mesh.

Shotcrete (wet mix sprayed concrete) was applied directly to the piled wall to a cut back finish ready for subsequent construction phases.

Our sprayed concrete solution significantly reduced installation time allowing our client to meet their urgent timescales and progress their project efficiently with minimal disruption.
